2005 Writing Showcase & Authors' Night
On April 14th, the Fontana Unified School District hosted its 15th
Annual Writing Showcase. Teachers from Fontana elementary, middle and high
schools submitted samples of their students' best writing and these works were judged by grade level and category. Judges looked
primarily for creativity, clarity, and variety of written expression, and the
presence of an original and distinctive author's voice.
Winning works were awarded red ribbons and the students identified in
bold
below have been invited to attend
Authors' Night on April 26th, where they read their winning entry, and
were awarded
medals of recognition.
