At their May 3, 2006 meeting, the FUSD Board of Education adopted Resolution #06-29 authorizing the designation of May 21-27, 2006, as "Classified School Employee Week."

The Fontana Unified School District employs over 1600 classified employees and depends daily upon their dedication and capabilities in order for the district and its schools to run efficiently and effectively.  Classified employees works with commitment in forwarding the mission of the district and thereby providing many benefits to this community, its schools, and the state of California.

The Fontana Unified School District joins the State of California in setting aside May 21-27, 2006, as a fitting time to honor our classified employees and recognize their long and excellent service records.
