On June 8, 2006, the Fontana Unified School District held its Annual Retirement and Recognition Dinner.  The High School multipurpose room was filled with hundreds of FUSD co-workers and families honoring the 68 retiring employees.  Superintendent, Dr. Charles D. Milligan, and the members of the Board of Education presented awards and certificates to retirees and employees with 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service.

A dinner of glazed baked ham and vegetable lasagna was prepared by the FUSD Child Nutrition Department and served by Kaiser High School Peer Leaders.  Entertainment was provided by the Kaiser High School Jazz Ensemble and Madrigals under the direction of Darrin Schuck.
