School Choice Program
Under the No Child Left
Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB), school districts must offer parents of students in
schools that have been identified for Program Improvement the opportunity to
transfer their children to other schools in the same district that have not been
identified for Program Improvement. The following schools will participate in
the School Choice program during the 2005-06 school year. Citrus, Cypress,
Live Oak, Maple, North Tamarind, Oleander, Palmetto, Primrose, Redwood, South
Tamarind, Ted Porter, and West Randall Elementary.
