A.B. Miller Students Selected for Cal State Honor Band

A.B. Miller High School is proud to announce that nine A.B. Miller students have been selected to participate in the Cal State University, San Bernardino Honor Band.

Ivan Cisneros is a front ensemble player in the Miller Marching Rebels.  He marched trumpet in the Rose Parade with the 2005 Pasadena All-City All-Star Band and the 2007 Pasadena City College Tournament of Roses Honor Band.  Ivan is currently a trumpet player for the Velvet Knights Drum and Bugle Corps.  In addition, he is a member of the front ensemble for the Rebel Alliance Percussion Ensemble.

Roberto Ronquillo plays tenor saxophone for the Miller Marching Rebels.  He marched in the 2007 Pasadena City College Tournament of Roses Honor Band. Roberto also plays synthesizer for the Rebel Alliance Percussion Ensemble.

Darwin Rivas is a snare player for the Miller Marching Rebels and Rebel Alliance Percussion Ensemble.

Tyler Machado is a snare player for the Miller Marching Rebels and Rebel Alliance Percussion Ensemble.

Marrion Levy is a trumpet player for the Miller Marching Rebels and the A.B. Miller Concert Band.

James Rodriguez is a trumpet player for the Miller Marching Rebels and the A.B. Miller Concert Band.  In addition, James plays guitar for the Rebel Alliance Percussion Ensemble.

Jose Marquez is a front ensemble player for both the Miller Marching Rebels and Rebel Alliance Percussion Ensemble.

Leila Rodriguez is a sophomore clarinet player in the Miller Marching Rebels.  She is the section leader and is a very talented clarinetist.

Elisa Reyes is a junior flute player in the Miller Marching Rebels..  She is also the assistant drum major for the band
