A.B. Miller Presents Neil Simon's "Fools"

A.B. Miller's Theatre Department and ROP Stagecraft are
proud to announce the finale to this year's incredible theatre season! Please join us for the
lighthearted production of Neil Simon's comic fable, "Fools."
A.B. Millers production of "Fools" is unique, because it takes place in
Dogwood County, a remote mining town in the Old West that, from all
appearances, is idyllic. However, the tragedy that plagues each citizen is
that they've all been cursed with chronic stupidity. Out of desperation,
they hire Leon Tolchinsky (played by Trevor Pascoe), an idealistic
schoolteacher, to break the curse by educating the beautiful but dimwitted
Sophia (played by Jacklyne Aceves). What they don't tell "Lee" is that if
he fails in his efforts, he, too, will become a fool. And he has just 24
hours to put an end to the curse!
The cast includes Casey Williams as Dr. Devaroe, Michelle Hejduk as his
wife, Loretta, and Josh Kay as the evil Mr. Bartlet. The remaining
townsfolk are played by Sara Faught, Johnathan Koops, Daniel Reyes, Karen
Estrada and Cristian Delgadillo.
Performances will be May, 3, 4, and 5. Each show begins at 7:00pm. Tickets
will be $5 in advance or $10 at the door.
