EL Master Plan Forums to be Held
The Fontana Unified School District
would like to invite parents and community members to provide their
input to our Draft Master
Plan for Services to English Learners.
A school-community task force has been working since September of 2007
to develop a draft Master Plan. When complete, the Master Plan will be
an operational guide for district staff in the implementation of
effective programs for English learners.
Each forum will provide participants with:
- A description of the need for an EL Master Plan
- An explanation of the process used in developing the draft plan
- A summary of the plan’s key features
- An explanation of how to provide input for consideration by the Task
Force
and
- An opportunity to begin to review the draft Master Plan and provide
input for consideration by the Task Force
