Bzzzz - Spelling Bee Swarms FUSDCongratulations to all the students who participated in Fontana Unified School District's Second Annual District Spelling Bee on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Juniper Elementary School. The students gave up their Saturday to compete by spelling fun words like picturesque, facetious, chrysanthemum, narcissistic, dichotomy, bureaucracy, conscientious, and loquacious. Students from thirteen elementary schools competed in three grade divisions. Competing schools included Almond, Canyon Crest, Date, Grant, Hemlock, Juniper, Primrose, Randall Pepper, Shadow Hills, Sierra Lakes, South Tamarind, Tokay and West Randall Elementary Schools.
