Fohi Students Honored for Academic Achievement
On
March 13, 2008 Fontana High School
honored 240 students
for their academic achievement during first semester, Fall/Winter 2007. The Jerry Dison medal was awarded to students with a grade point
average of 3.5 and higher.
At the awards ceremony, the Junior Honor
Attendants, the Daisy Chain and Ushers, were announced: Christopher

Between 1982 and 2000, Jerry Dison was the driving force behind the Academic
Awards Ceremony at Fontana High School. For 38 years, Mr. Dison inspired
students to achieve academic excellence. After he passed away in January
2001, this ceremony was renamed for him in honor of his dedication and
commitment.
