Fontana's New Board Member

At a special session held Wednesday, April 23, former Fontana Chief of Police Larry Clark was appointed to fill the vacancy on the Board of Education.  Chief Clark is a graduate of Fontana High School, the parent of three Fontana students, a long-time volunteer in youth activities, and was instrumental in the redesign of Fontana Unified School District's School Police Department.  Larry is President of the Library Foundation and Treasurer of the Fontana Boys and Girls Club.

Mr. Clark's term of office will expire in December of 2008, so he will have to run for the position in the November election to stay on the Board longer than these coming seven months.
