MaryAnn Workman Writing Showcase
The Fontana Unified School District will be
holding its annual MaryAnn Workman Writing Showcase on Saturday, April 26, 2008.
Public Viewing of student writing will be from 10 am to 12:30 pm at Truman
Middle School.
Teachers from Fontana elementary, middle and high
schools have submitted samples of their students' best writing after having been
judged by grade level and category. Using the grade-level content
standards, judges look for
creativity, clarity, and variety of written expression, and the presence of an
original and distinctive author's voice.
