Zangle is Here!
Beginning Thursday, July 5, FUSD's student
information system SASI will be a thing of the past and our new student
information system, Zangle, will be live and available for use by our schools -
and soon, parents and students, too!
At the School Sites:
Teachers will be using Zangle TeacherConnection, a web-based application that
allows teachers to enter classroom news, attendance data, gradebook data, and
student class marks directly to the Zangle database over the Internet or
district intranet. (Teachers,

Principals and office personnel will be using Zangle FrontOffice, a rich, full
featured, student information system. It covers all aspects of student
management, including: enrollment, scheduling, attendance, mark reporting,
transcripts, discipline, health, test management, services & programs
management, English Learner testing & programs, student accounting,
school-to-work programs, and food services.
But that’s not all – parents and students will soon have access to their own
Zangle applications!

Zangle ParentConnection will provide parents secured access to a wide array of
their children’s information, such as classroom news; student demographics;
schedules; attendance activity; class assignments; report cards & progress
reports; health & immunizations; transcripts; standardized testing results; and
e-mail links to teachers, counselors, and school administrators.
Zangle StudentConnection is a web-based application that accesses the Zangle
Student Information database and provides students with a way to view school
data over the Internet, as well as enter their course requests online.
The Fontana Unified School District is committed to integrating technology to
provide a greater educational experience and achieve the new levels of
accountability demanded by state, local and federal government. The transition
to Zangle will support these objectives, especially helping parents, teachers
and administrators access complete information about students anytime,
anywhere—all in an accurate, secure and real-time environment.
