FUSD Board Appoints Eva Fritsch as New Principal of West Randall
On
May, 2009, the Fontana Unified School District appointed Eva Fritsch as the new
Principal of West Randall Elementary School, effective the 2009-10 school year.
Mrs. Fritsch is currently FUSD's Coordinator of
Elementary Curriculum in the Instructional Services Division. For the past
three years, she has supported teachers and principals in implementing the core
curriculum through walkthroughs, trainings, pacing guides and assessments.
She has also coordinated the
district's Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) program, Gifted And Talented
Education (GATE) program, Enrichment program, and Math Field Day. Before
coming to the District Office, Mrs. Fritsch taught kindergarten and first grade
for three years at Almond Elementary School.
Oscar Dueñas, Interim Associate Superintendent
of Instructional Services said, "I am pleased to announce Mrs. Fritsch's
appointment. I am confident that Mrs. Fritsch will bring a high level of
focus on student success and instructional leadership to her new role."
Said Mrs. Fritsch, "I am delighted to be named
the new Principal of West Randall Elementary School. Mr. Dueñas
took me over to the school and introduced
me to the staff last Friday. They made me feel right at home. I look
forward to becoming part of the West Randall team."
