Energy Awareness Month: "A Sustainable Energy Future; Putting all the Pieces Together"

President Barack Obama has proclaimed October as National Energy Awareness Month and the Fontana Unified School District is helping to spread the word by providing materials and ideas to promote energy-saving practices at school and at home.

This year's theme, "A Sustainable Energy Future; Putting all the Pieces Together," encourages everyone to see how they fit into the big picture, because no matter how large the problem may appear, the fact remains that each of us is part of the solution.  Every day, each of us makes decisions that can stimulate sustainability and a new energy economy.  When we put all the pieces together, all of us - the Federal Government, private industry, and the public - have the means to shape our energy future and move our nation toward energy independence.

Please take a look at some of the helpful online resources below and find out how you can make a difference.
