In honor of Patriot Day, Citrus High School's ASB Leadership Class constructed a temporary memorial wall listing the victims of September 11, 2001.  They also distributed "United We Stand" wristbands to fellow students.  The flag at Citrus High School was flown at half-staff and the students and faculty observed a moment of silence before the Pledge of Allegiance.  During their lunch period, they played patriotic music to commemorate the day.
