Congratulations to Omar Cerpa, a 12th grade student at Citrus Continuation High School. Omar recently won the 6th Annual Self-Portrait Contest sponsored by Utrecht Art Supplies and co-sponsored and judged by the Savannah College of Art and Design.  As winner of the Senior Grand Prize, his graphite drawing is featured on the Utrecht website and he received a $500 ArtSmart Card and SCAD Gift Package.

Kelsy Gray, Omar's art teacher at Citrus High School, is naturally very proud of her student.  "He is really talented, I think he will do great things after graduation," said Ms. Gray.

Omar's original drawing is on display at the FUSD District Office, Building #1 Hallway.
