A.B. Miller Awarded Third Place in
National Yearbook Competition
A.B.
Miller High School's 2009-10
yearbook staff was small but
mighty, proving that a small,
dedicated staff can do wonderful
things despite a budget crisis
and, as a result, coverage
reduction. Their completed,
188-page Rebelution was
entered in the ASPA (American
Scholastic Press Association)
competition by Yearbook Advisor
Melissa Stanhope to see how
Miller's yearbook rates among
other high school yearbooks
across the nation and Canada.
The results are in and Miller's
yearbook took third place in
their first national entry.
Among the accolades given by the
review board: All the
students at Miller were well
represented, the athletics
program was fully and
objectively covered, all school
personnel were presented, and
the theme ("Our Journey") was
obvious, and graphically and
logically carried throughout the
yearbook.
Great job, A.B. Miller Yearbook
