CPR/First Aid Classes offered for FUSD Employees


Classes offered through Comprehensive Health

Due to the large number of FUSD employees in need of CPR/First Aid Classes, the office of Comprehensive Health is offering classes to employees to meet their work requirements.

The cost of the class is $24.50 per person.  Employees interested in attending any of the below listed classes are asked to contact Michelle Stephens at (909) 357-5000, ext. 7250 to register and arrange payment.  A Money Order made payable to the American Red Cross for the exact amount will be the only acceptable form of payment.  No cash or checks will be accepted.

Tuesday, April 13 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. District Office, Bldg. 19
Tuesday, April 27 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. District Office, Bldg. 38
Tuesday, May 11 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. District Office, Bldg. 19
Thursday, May 20 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. District Office, Bldg. 38
Tuesday, June 8 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. District Office, Bldg. 19

Upon completion of this class, the employee will receive:

  • A certificate of clock hours for professional development
  • CPR Card valid for 1 year (Certificated employees:  This card meets the CPR requirement for credential)
  • First Aid Card valid for 3 years

Class offered through Risk Management - Wayne Bennett

The department of Risk Management is offering a CPR/First Aid class on May 22, 2004 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the Enrollment Center Conference Room.  Cost of the class is $35 per person.  Employees interested in attending the class should contact Wayne Bennett at (760) 249-3499.

Upon completion of the class, the employee will receive a certificate that is valid in First Aid and Adult/Child/Infant CPR for a period of 2 years from the issuance date.  The CPR card meets the CPR requirement required for Certificated employee credential.
