At the March 3, 2004 meeting of Fontana Unified School District's Board of Education, fourth and fifth grade students performed two pieces demonstrating the musical experience they gained through the music enrichment program.   As teacher Michele Patterson explained, music is not just singing or playing an instrument; music is also  listening, creating, dancing, and even speaking.  The students learn about music through imitation, exploration, improvisation, and visualization.
