Upcoming High School All-Star Football Games

Just because the high school football season has ended, don't despair!  There are still a few remaining opportunities to see some great gridiron action.

Presented by Community Medical Group of Riverside and The Press-Enterprise the game is a charity event featuring top senior football players selected from more than 100 high schools throughout Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. The event was developed and is maintained by The SPORT Foundation with proceeds benefiting their many youth programs. The SPORT Foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps plan and conduct the game. Over the past 27 years, the game has awarded more than $125,000.00 in Scholarships to high school individuals.

After a six year hiatus, a showcase of California’s best much like that of the Shriners All-Star High School Football Game is being presented by PREPSTAR and Plays and Grades, Inc with a vengeance. The 2013 game will showcase seven 48 man teams from the following areas: San Diego County, Phoenix Arizona, Southern Section (Orange County), Bay Area Section, Southern Section North, LA City Section and Southern Section East. 

Fontana participants:  Chris Bourne (C) - Summit, Darius Goss (DE) - Summit, Stephan Omari (U) - Summit, Cody Pantages (LB) - Summit, Darnell Pugh (U) - Summit, Keenan Sykes (DE) - Summit, and Willie Tucker (DL) - Summit.

The third Under Armour Arizona-Southern California High School All-Star Football Game, in part produced by the Southern California Interscholastic Football Coaches Association, will make its state debut January 21 at Riverside Community College. Legendary high school football coach Dick Bruich will coach the Southern California team once again. Bruich will be assisted by Kaiser assistant coach John MacKinney and son Kurt Bruich, the head coach at Redlands East Valley.

Fontana Participants:   Anthony Saenz (LB) - Kaiser, Kevin Trujillo (OL) - Kaiser, and the Summit High School Cheer Squad.
