Graduation Ceremony Held for Kaiser Advanced Law Enforcement Academy

On Monday, May 15, Kaiser High School's Advanced Law Enforcement Academy held their graduation ceremony for Class 016.

This semester, 30 students from the Fontana Unified School District successfully completed the academy and special awards were given to 6 cadets. The following cadets were presented with awards during the ceremony:

  • Best All Around Cadet Award: Cadet Daniel Lopez, Summit High School
  • Academic Achievement Award: Cadet Jonathan Morales, A.B. Miller High School
  • Most Improved Cadet Award: Cadet Adrian Ledezma, Kaiser High School
  • Good Citizenship Award: Cadet Diana Campos, A.B. Miller High School
  • Good Citizenship Award: Cadet Wesley Montes, Jurupa High School
  • Most Improved Physical Fitness Award - Female: Cadet Guadalupe Tafolla, A.B. Miller
  • Most Improved Physical Fitness Award - Male: Cadet Wesley Montes, Jurupa Hills High School

During the ceremony, Instructor Daniel Armenta gave a special award for the first time in the history of Advanced Law Enforcement. The Team Spirit Award was presented to Class 016 for consistently exhibiting an exemplary level of team work. Class 016 encouraged and motivated each other every step of the way and showed concern for each other when fellow cadets were struggling. Even during competitions cadets were encouraging the other team whether they were winning or behind. Class 016 will be immortalized with a plaque on the wall of Advanced Law Enforcements new location at Fontana High School starting in the 2017-2018 school year.

For the Fall 2017 semester, several graduates were selected to comeback in leadership positions to assist with Class 017. The new semester starts Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Fontana High School. For information to be a part of Class 017, contact a high school counselor.
