Fohi presents The Actor's Nightmare
For their Fall theater production, Fontana High School presents Christopher Durang's hilarious spoof, The Actor's Nightmare.
Having casually wandered onstage, George (played by Andrew Salas & Armondo Maldonado) is informed by the Stage Manager (played by Luis Tamayo & Briana Delgadillo) that the lead actor has been in an auto accident and George, as his understudy, must replace him immediately. He doesn't know his lines, he doesn't even know if he's an actor. On top of that, people keep telling him different titles for the show he's apparently going to be in. Thrust onstage, costumed as Hamlet, George finds himself in the middle of a scene from Noel Coward's Private Lives, surrounded by such luminaries as Sarah Siddons (played by Nichole Serrano & Marieann Real), Dame Ellen Terry (played by Kenya Cardenas), and Henry Irving (played by Kevin Cadena).
The Actor's Nightmare will be performed by Cast 1 October 19 at 4 pm and October 20 at 6:30 pm. Cast 2 performances will be on October 20 at 4 pm and October 21 at 6:30 pm. All tickets are $5. Please not strobe and and fog effects will be used at these performances.
