Facilities

The department of Facilities provides overall leadership and supervision for the Departments of Maintenance & Operations and Facilities; coordinates the District's overall workings with State, county, city and public agencies in securing of facilities funding, permits, zoning, roads, etc.; serves as the District's representative for facilities matters with the various State, city, county and Federal agencies; responsible for the District's enrollment projection process; works with the various project architects with regard to facilities design, location, orientation of buildings on sites; and working with the Department of Maintenance & Operations responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of facilities.
