Does my Kaiser plan include chiropractic
services?

As a new addition to our Kaiser Plan. Starting July 1, 2011, our Kaiser members will have the opportunity to see a Chiropractor up to 30 times at the $10 co-pay.

At what age limit does
my health plan cancel my dependents?

Kaiser & Aetna: Under the new Healthcare Reform bill, Dependents may stay on your Medical Insurance up to their 26th birthday.
Dental and
Vision plans: Maximum age is 25. Dependents must meet either
of the two requirements for health insurance.

If I ever leave my employment with the District, when will my
benefits be canceled?

Is there something I can do to
extend my benefits after I leave?

Yes, there is
COBRA! A law that states all employees have the right to continue
their insurance at their own cost.

What are my District paid benefit options for retirement?

Certificated Employees need to be 55 years old and have worked in the District
for 15
years,
Classified Employees need to be 50 years old and have worked in the district for
15 years,
Your
choice will include 6 years of full benefits, which includes the health plan, dental
plan, vision plan, and Life
Insurance OR 8 years of your health plan only.
If you have worked 35 years or more, you are entitled to Life Time
Medical! |
