District Counsel
The District Counsel's office is
responsible to act as the Title IX officer in lieu of the
Superintendent; conducts investigations regarding various employee
matters and complaints from parents or students for violations of
federal or state law and/or district policy; handles 504 and ADA
accommodations dealing with various types of disabilities; provides
legal interpretation of the Family and Medical Leave Act and California
Family Rights Act; and handles various contract matters and specialized
litigation.
