Categorical Programs
Provides allocation of State and Federal funds to school sites,
monitors expenditures, assists in development of school plans, and coordinates program quality
and compliance reviews.
Single Plan for Student Achievement
Essential to both program quality and program compliance is a school's planning process
and the resulting instructional plan. Schools operating Title I, School Improvement or
School Based Coordinated Programs must maintain written plans which describe students'
instructional needs based on state academic content and performance standards, specific improvement strategies, and a monitoring and evaluation component.
