The BTSA Steering Committee's responsibilities are as follows:

• To provide input into the budget and program plan
• To address program implementation issues
• To oversee goals and timelines
• To monitor assurances made by the district and the sites
• To communicate goals to schools and the Board of Education
• To provide input to the Program Coordinator
• To review evaluation data
• To recommend program revisions based on collected data
