Why do we need a Staff Portal when we already have a District website?
Separate from www.fusd.net, the District Intranet - the Staff Portal - is designed to meet the needs of FUSD staff members.  By providing a site for staff needs, we will be able to structure the public site, www.fusd.net, to better meet the needs of students, parents, and community.

What is an Intranet?
An Intranet is a private network based on an Internet belonging to an organization, accessible only by the organization's employees or others with authorization.  An Intranet's Website looks and acts just like any other Website, but the firewall surrounding an Intranet fends off unauthorized access.
