Eric Birch High School is a continuation school serving grades 9-12. The present school site opened in September 1994 after twenty years in portable structures. It is the state of the art for a continuation high school. Our school is moving in the direction of school-to-career system. We are beginning to teach core academics in ways that demonstrate the relationship between school and work. On-site workplace experiences are provided to students. They include paid positions, field trips, workshops, guest speakers, career days, career education classes, and work experience (paid and non-paid) supervision and related instruction. All students have access to the Eureka Career Guidance System, that provides information on jobs for which each student is most suited, schools (local national and international), programs, financial assistance, and job-search and job-holding techniques. Where the students recieve quality alternative education that empowers them academically, technologically, and vocationally.
