GOALS OF THE PROGRAM
The program will create a career path in Manufacturing/ Engineering Design Technology that will allow students to move on to a four-year university, community college, or directly to work right out of high school.
The program will partner with industry to give students industry exposure, training, guidance, and employment.
The district and site administrators will support flexibility in methodology with the standardized curriculum so the program can restructure the way students learn and change how teachers teach.
The program will incorporate resources from programs with similar goals such as Partnership Academies, Tech Prep, ROP, School-to-Career, Community College and Youth Apprenticeship into a single program and a greater change with the available resources.
