English Learner Advisory Committee - ELAC
The ELAC is composed of 10 members, including parents, staff, and
administration. The Purpose of this committee is to advise the
principal and staff in the development of the school plan for
education of English Language Learners, conducting the school’s
needs assessment, and communicating to parents of the importance of
regular school attendance.
It is required that members of this council attend the monthly
meetings, which are usually held on the second Monday of each month
at 3:30 p.m. at the school. These meetings last around an hour.
