Principal's Message
Dear Live Oak Parents,
It is my desire that everyone have a relaxing and rejuvenating summer vacation. Congratulations to all my sixth graders that will be starting Middle School in August. I wish them well. During the new school year we will continue to implement our school and district goals:

During the months of June and July, encourage your children to read on a daily basis. Take advantage of the Fontana Library and check out books of interest to your child. Provide them with a daily routine to read 30-60 minutes a day. If your child has been struggling in academic areas, have them practice in those areas of difficulty. Most important, limit TV watching and have your children be involved in physical exercise through sports, or recreational activities such as going to the park.
On Friday, August 5, we will be posting the class list outside the office after 4 p.m. You may come to find out who the new teachers are for the new school year. These lists are subject to change, even after the start of the school year, based on the actual number of students present and the need for some students to participate in academically intensive intervention programs.
School will start on Monday, August 8, 2011. Have your children be here ready and on time on that day. We open the gate at 8:05 a.m. for them to eat breakfast at school. The bell will ring at 8:23 a.m. every morning.
