Our Mission
The Canyon Crest Elementary School community is dedicated to the goal of
preparing our students to be productive, confident citizens of the 21st century.
We focus on learners meeting or exceeding California State Standards while
addressing the physical, social, and emotional development of our students.

A Message From our Principal
Canyon Crest Elementary School is a California Distinguished School. Credit for
that honor goes to our students, our community and our staff. Everyone
works together to provide the programs, resources and support our students need
to succeed.
Our students’ academic needs are met by highly qualified teachers using
standards-based curriculum and research-proven methods. Staff development,
data analysis and collaboration are ongoing activities.
Support staff are well-prepared to give students the individual attention they
need. Health services, tutoring, translation, food services, library time, and
supervision are a few of the services provided to children by support staff.
Parents are an invaluable resource and are always welcome on campus. Their
ideas help the staff at Canyon Crest better serve all children and make our
school a true learning community. Parent participation is encouraged and
many various kinds of opportunities for involvement are planned.
