Dorothy Grant Elementary School is one of twenty-nine elementary schools in the Fontana Unified School District.  It is a single-track, year-round schedule with approximately 682 students in preschool school through grade five.  The school population is rich with ethnically and linguistically diverse students.  The overall ethnic composition is 8.3% Hispanic, 16.1% African-American, 7.8% Caucasian, 3.6% Filipino, 0.9% Multiple or no response, and 0.4% Other ethnic backgrounds.
