A Message From our Principal
The belief at Porter Elementary School is that
all students can learn. Our students can and will learn in an environment
that is tailored to their evolving and diverse needs. Our certificated and
classified staff at Porter takes seriously the charge of developing academic and
social skills of the children we are privileged to serve. You will find
that the main ingredient that resurfaces and remains constant is the quality of
people leading our students and mapping a path of success for each and
every child.
We recognize that a successful school experience
is the result of shared responsibility between home and school. Parents
are encouraged to join our efforts. Parents are teachers, too, and what
parents do with their children at home has a powerful influence on children's
performance at school.
As the principal, I feel fortunate to serve in
this position and will strive to keep the lines of communication open. I
welcome any suggestions, comments, or questions you may have. Thank you
for helping Porter Elementary School accomplish its goals.
