Coach Dick Bruich Honored
On March 17, 2005, Coach Dick Bruich was
presented with the "Lifetime Achievement Award" at the first Scholar-Athletic
Awards Dinner at the Radisson Hotel and Convention Center. Former players
and coaches from the 1987 champion Fontana High School football team celebrated
their astounding achievement at the dinner that was hosted by the San Bernardino
County Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of
Fame.
On June 29, 2005, Coach Bruich will again be
honored when he is inducted into the National High School Athletic Coaches Association
Hall of Fame in Orlando, Florida. His career dedication to coaching and
the inspiration he has passed on to the athletes in his charge has earned him
this national recognition. He was nominated by the California Coach's
Association. Kaiser High School is very proud and our students are very
fortunate that he is part of our staff.
