A Message From Our Principal
Fontana Middle School has a rich history, first opening its
doors in 1927. Some FMS buildings are listed in the Fontana
Historical Registry and many of the leaders of our community were
educated within its walls. Middle
School represents a major turning point in the lives of its
students as they make the transition from child to young adult.
During the time our students are with us, we strive to
academically prepare them for their future as well as be
responsive to the many changes that affect their lives. It takes
the school (administration, faculty and students), the home and
our community to help these students reach their highest level of
achievement.
Although the past is important, it is on the future where we
place our emphasis. As our student population changes, we will
change to meet their needs, pose new challenges and strive for
academic excellence. We look forward to working with you to make
Fontana Middle School a place at which our community looks with
pride and respect.
