Wayne Ruble Middle School
Groundbreaking Ceremony
On April 16, 2003, the Groundbreaking Ceremony was held for
Wayne Ruble Middle School. The ceremony was attended
by Fontana Unified School District Board Members, district and county
administration, as well as local government representatives. Also in attendance
were representatives from HMC Architects, architect of Ruble Middle School, and
Woodcliff Corporation, the contractor.
The school was named after D. Wayne Ruble, Ed.D.
Dr. Ruble is a current Board Member and a retired Fontana Unified School
District administrator. He
was employed as a teacher from 1958-1965 and retired as Coordinator of Special
Services in 1985.
Wayne Ruble Middle School is scheduled to open in July 2004.

D. Piazza
Mr. Piazza, a retired Board Member who served many years
on Fontana Unified's Board of Education along side Dr. Ruble, spoke during
the ground breaking ceremony.
