Perfect Attendance Spells Success (P.A.S.S.)
Every 11th and 121h grade student with at least a 98% perfect attendance, no out-of-school suspensions, a minimum 2.7 GPA and enrolled in the school district by October 21 during the 2013-14 school year will be eligible to have their name included in a drawing (names will be provided by the school district) for a chance to win great prizes and one lucky grand prize winner will be taking home a brand new 2014 Chevrolet,
including tax and license.
2013-14 California High School Proficiency Exam The California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) is a voluntary test that assesses proficiency in basic
reading, writing, and mathematics skills taught in public schools. The CHSPE consists of two test sections: mathematics
and English-language arts (ELA). The ELA section has two subtests (reading and language). Eligible persons who pass
both parts of the CHSPE are awarded a Certificate of Proficiency by the State Board of Education. The test is given in
