Summit Presents "The Girls of the Garden Club"

Summit High School is proud to present John Patrick's comedy, "The Girls of the Garden Club."

"The Girls of the Garden Club" is the delightful and witty story of Rhoda Greenleaf (played by Shelby Wagner), an avid gardener and garden club member who dreams of owning her own greenhouse.  Her husband (played by Manuel Elenes) does not share her dream.  Rhoda, with the help of her garden club, is determined to emerge from the weeds and Miracle Gro triumphant but to do that, she must take on current present and rival gardener, Lillybelle Lamont (played by Jessica Beron).

The cast includes a host of characters all with their unique "flair" that is sure to tickle the funny bone of the audience, including:  Raven Carter, Lisa Camberos, Lacy Potter, Mary Jo Perez, Malanie Aguirre, Kemah Koiyan, Bianca Anyakora, Jarred Roeback, Summer Methvin, Heather Peter, Maryana Coleman, Chelsey Brown, Gisselle Medina, Saharay Torres, Veronica Torres, Iesha Morris, Tania Soto, and Soraya Nolasco.  Jarred Nelson is the Stage Manager and Daniel Mesa is Assistant Stage Manager.

Performances are Thursday, April 17, at 3:30 pm and Friday, April 18, at 7 pm in the Summit High School Multipurpose Room.  Tickets are $5.
