Fontana High School S.T.A.R. Productions, in cooperation with FUSD Stagecraft ROP, is proud to present an original adaptation of the timeless classic "Sleeping Beauty (The Untold Truth)."
Director Lisa Sites was a member of The Group, an improv group that developed the script for this story many years ago. The Lord Chamberlain (Ian O'Neill) has gone to great pains to make sure the guest list is complete for Princess Aurora's (Brenda Garrison) christening. Unfortunately, the invitation for the fairy Malgoro (Anthony Gutierrez) is left in his pocket. The other fairies, Gingerella (Kimberli Aguilar), Tellina (Maria Covarrubias) and Cisserina (Jasmine Lopez) are presented to King Ferdinand (Jorge Villegas) and Queen Isabella (Carrie Hale) by Figbert (Jay Stevens) and the fun begins!
The cast also includes Jessica Badillo, Zuley Hurtado, Abigail Rodriguez, Felipe Sanchez, Holly Talley, and Jennyfer Urbina.
Also on the bill will be a short 2 person scene called "Around the Block," performed by Paul and Lynn Beal.
Performances will be held in Theodore Auditorium on the Fontana High School campus on Thursday, May 1, at 3:30 pm; Friday, May 2, at 7:00 pm; and Saturday, May 3, at 2:30 pm.
