Dear Tiger Families,
As we approach the end of another school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we have shared together. It has been a privilege to serve as the Principal of Palmetto and see the growth and achievements of our students.
First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to you, our families. Your support and involvement have played a vital role in creating a nurturing and enriching environment for our students. Your partnership in their education has been invaluable, and I am truly grateful for the trust you have placed in us. We will have additional volunteer opportunities for the 2023-2024 school year and we look forward to your continued partnership.
We have upcoming changes for next school year. As part of a larger school-wide construction project, our office will be remodeled during the 2023-2024 school year. Our front office will now be operating out of room 3. We will also be experiencing limited usage of the parking lot and drop-off and pick-up may be altered. We will provide more details as we work and rework plans, as needed. We are graciously asking for your flexibility during this time of transition as the construction occurs.
I am grateful for the memories and moments we shared this school year. I am proud of our students’ accomplishments and the well-rounded individuals they have become.
Looking ahead, we will continue to prioritize rigorous academic learning experiences, social and emotional well-being, and an inclusive school culture where every student feels valued, respected, and safe. Together, we will cultivate an environment that promotes kindness, empathy, and personal growth. We will remain dedicated to implementing innovative teaching practices to prepare our students for the challenges and opportunities in their lives.
Please stay connected with us through our school website, ParentSquare, and social media platforms to receive important updates and announcements during the break. Our office will reopen on July 19th in room 3 and the first day of school for students is August 3, 2023. We look forward to welcoming you back for another exceptional academic year.
Once again, thank you for your unwavering support and for entrusting us with your children's education. I am excited about the future that lies ahead.
I encourage you to take this summer break as an opportunity to spend quality time with your loved ones, relax, and rejuvenate. Wishing all our families a safe, joyous, and relaxing summer.
Kindly,
Kim Moyer
Principal
