Fontana High School has been fielding interscholastic Athletics teams since 1952. We are a member of the California Interscholatic Federation Southern Section (CIF-SS) and currently compete in the Arrowhead Athletic Conference (AAC) which consists of the Sunkist, San Andreas, and Skyline leagues.
We field 21 Varsity teams in 13 sports consisting of Boys,Girls, and CoEd teams which compete in one of three Seasons of Sport (Fall, Winter, Spring). All programs offer at least two levels of play (Varsity & JV), with some also fielding a Freshmen level as well.
We encourage as many students as possible to join our programs, but participation is a privilege. Athletes must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and live up to a high standard of effort and conduct set by CIF, FUSD, Fontana High School, Fohi Athletics, and each individual program.
Tryouts take place for each program at various times of the year. For questions about tryout dates and times, please contact the Athletic Director, via email. In order to play sports at Fohi, all students must complete an online enrollment and return the required documents to the Athletics Office. Email contacts for individual head coaches can be found on each team's page.
