A Message From Our Principal
Hello Maple Families,
I hope this message finds you all safe and healthy. While I have written that sentence multiple times, I know that many of our families in the community have experienced loss, sadness, grief and heartache. This year of distance learning has continued to teach us perseverance.
There has been anticipation of returning to school, and I am happy to say that we will be able to safely make this happen in a hybrid model on Monday, April 5th for students in TK-2nd and Monday, April 12th for students in 3rd-5th grade.
In order to return to school the following needed to occur:
The highest level of health and safety regulations will occur. Students will be screened prior to entering school, desks are six feet apart, desk shields for each student have been ordered and all COVID-19 regulations from the California Department of Public Health have been implemented. Additionally, safety walks are held weekly.
The continued reduction of the number of positive cases in the county has allowed us to move into the red tier, which means the virus continues to decline.
Vaccinations have occurred for staff in the Fontana Unified School District.
While I know that this can be a difficult decision, please know that a parent meeting will be held on Thursday, March 18th at 3:30pm via Teams to review our reopening plan and answer any questions you may have.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the school office at 909-357-5670.

Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful
Our Jog-A-Thon event was a success! Students raised funds to help support school events and enjoyed a morning of friendly competitive jogging to see who ran the most laps! Thank you Maple families for all your support.
