A Message From Our Principal
Dear Maple Mustang Families:
First and foremost, I hope you and your families are staying safe and healthy. The Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has caused us to take a new approach on how we deliver our educational program. Our teachers and support staff are diligently working to provide meaningful lessons to all our students. Students will be receiving materials in a variety of methods, digitally or through a packet if technology is not available. Teachers will be reaching out to students through phone calls this week and next week through Microsoft Teams.
The Fontana Unified School District Food and Nutrition department will continue to provide nutritional lunches for students. The closest location where families can pick up Grab-and-Go lunches are at Palmetto Elementary School (9325 Palmetto Avenue, Fontana) and Primrose Elementary School (751 N. Maple Avenue). The hours are from 11:00am – 12:30pm.
Up-to-date information about FUSD school closures is available at www.fusd.net/coronavirus. In addition, our phones are working in the office and you can always email Ms. Zerbel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All of the staff of Maple truly miss our Mustangs!
We will get through this together!
Maple staff misses you so much! We will be driving by the neighborhood to wave from our vehicles! Please be out in front of your homes after 11a.m. on Friday, April 3rd. Remember to follow the social distance guidelines. Don’t miss the wave parade!
Elena A. Zerbel,
Our Jog-A-Thon event was a success! Students raised funds to help support school events and enjoyed a morning of friendly competitive jogging to see who ran the most laps! Thank you Maple families for all your support.
