  • Robert Soriano - Principal

    Mr. Soriano was born and raised in Ontario, graduating from Chaffey High School . “As a child I always admired my teachers and saw them as true mentors. They, along with my family, were the biggest impact on me becoming a teacher and administrator."​

    Mr. Soriano continued his education earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Cal Poly Pomona; a Teaching Credential from Cal Poly Pomona; a Masters in Educational Leadership and an Administrative Credential from Grand Canyon University.

    “I am very proud that all of my years as an educator have been in this wonderful district. Since 2006 I have been a classroom teacher, a Teacher on Assignment, Assistant Principal, and now as the Principal of Date Elementary. I am very excited to let the world know the wonderful things we are doing here at Date. I am honored to lead this great group of students, teachers, parents, and community to the next level!" 
Ms. Malfavon Assistant Principal picture

  • Denysse Malfavon - Assistant Principal

    Ms. Malfavon, a native of East Los Angeles, attended Winter Gardens Elementary School. Reflecting on her early years, she recalls, "The influence of my kindergarten teacher inspired me at the age of 5 to pursue a career in teaching".

    Ms. Malfavon earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Bilingual Teaching Credential from Cal State Fullerton. She also obtained a Master's in Educational Leadership and an Administrative Credential from Arizona State University. 

    "I feel extremely fortunate to hold my current position, which allows me to support students, teachers, and parents. My goal is to continue fostering the growth of our school's core values."
