Schedule Changes
  • Classes that are requested does not guarantee a schedule change due to several factors that conflict with scheduling.  Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances, counselors must place students in other/alternate courses.  Please refer to FAQ's below.

    PLEASE REMEMBER, A REQUEST FOR A SCHEDULE CHANGE IS JUST A REQUEST.  NOT ALL REQUESTS MAY BE GRANTED.  

    Students must submit a request for a schedule change by  DEADLINE 8/20/2021 3:00pm

  •  

    What schedule changes are denied? 

    • Schedule matching with friends
    • Picking your teacher
    • Adjusting  your schedule for a lunch preference
    • Designing the schedule in the order you wish to take the classes
    • you did not complete the prerequisite

     

    What reasons are acceptable for schedule changes?

    • an open or missing period
    • a duplicate class or period
    • missing a class needed for graduation
    • class taken during summer school
    • Change program (AP, Honors)- with approval only

     

    Why don't I always get the classes I requested? 

    Please remember that sometimes a class that was requested may not be available because the coure:

    • had low enrollment and is no longer offered 
    • is full and no space is available
    • had a prerequisite class that was not taken
    • there are conflicts with period availability
