The mission of the dedicated professional employees of the Transportation Department is to provide safe, efficient transportation service to all stakeholders of the Fontana Unified School District. Furthermore, we will do so in a caring and compassionate manner, while at all times putting the safety of our passengers above all else.

Fontana Unified School District offers transportation for eligible students living within their home school and living more than:
| Kindergarten | 1/2 Mile |
| Grades 1-5 | 1 Mile |
| Grades 6-8 | 3-1/4 Mile |
| Grades 9-1 | 4 Miles |
Transportation is NOT provided for students who have been approved for Intradistrict or Interdistrict Transfers.
Special Education Students:
Some Special Education students who are severely challenged or orthopedically impaired may receive free transportation. Contact your school psychologist. If the student's IEP requires transportation, free transportation will be provided as it has in the past. For more information, Student Services can be contacted at 909-357-5000 x29375 or x29376.
