Fontana USD SELPA is committed to helping families and school districts solve problems and conflicts in the fastest and easiest way. As part of this commitment we are proud to offer the following services:

FACILITATED IEPS

A neutral facilitator can join your child's IEP meeting to help guide the conversation in a student-focused and productive direction.

PRE-FILING MEETINGS

Schedule a mediation session before filing for due process. Bring in a neutral facilitator to help resolve the concerns before it gets to the State level.

STAFF/PARENT TRAINING

COACHING AND TRAINING TOPICS MAY INCLUDE:

Communication Skills - Articulating Concerns - E-mail Etiquette Negotiation Strategies - Perspective-taking, Finding common ground Facilitation Skills - In-Person or Virtual Tips on Working through Difficult Situations involving disagreement.
