Career Technical Education (CTE)
Career Technical Education pathways immerse students in hands-on, project-based, and work-based learning experiences that build academic knowledge, real-world skills, and industry-recognized certifications essential for college, career, and lifelong learning. These two-year, sequential, standards-based programs, some of which offer a third-year Work-Based Learning (WBL) elective, prepare students for postsecondary education or direct entry into the workforce. In Fontana Unified School District, students can explore 22 CTE pathways across 11 industry sectors, connecting classroom learning to future careers in a way that is relevant, engaging, and aligned with their personal goals.
