College/Regional Partnerships
Fontana Unified School District places a high premium on preparing students for college, career, and beyond. As such, we have partnered with several colleges and universities, including Cal Poly Pomona, California State University San Bernardino, Chaffey College, California Baptist University, University of Redlands, University of La Verne and Loma Linda University to promote academic excellence, dual enrollment, and offer social and mental health support to students and families.
College Partnership Overview

California State Polytechnic University, Pomona will offer guaranteed admissions to all graduating FUSD students who meet the minimum admission requirements. Additional supports will be provided to FUSD students to ensure a successful transition from high school to the college level.

California State University, San Bernardino will offer guaranteed admissions to all graduating FUSD students who meet the minimum admission requirements. Additional supports will be provided to FUSD students to ensure a successful transition from high school to the college level.

Dual Enrollment opportunities exist with our partners at Chaffey College. More info on those opportunities can be found here. Chaffey College will offer Autotech credit at Fontana High School’s Auto Lab. Courses include Autotech 450, 455, 10, 15, and 415. In addition, Chaffey Employment Development & Community Department will offer Not-for-Credit offerings at Citrus High School in the Control Systems Technician Pathway program that include industry recognized credentials in NCCER Core and Level 1.

Loma Linda has partnered with Fontana Unified School District to provide assistance in the areas of social/emotional and behavioral health services. Loma Linda’s Graduate School of Psychology will provide counseling interns to work closely with FUSD’s Special Educational Local Agency (SELPA) and assist in developing a comprehensive service model to expand services to more FUSD students.

California Baptist University guarantees admission to their university for FUSD students who meet the minimum admission requirements to attend CBU including a GPA of 2.5 or greater. CBU will waive the application fee and provide students with a minimum of $12,000 per year in total combined scholarships and grants.

University of LaVerne
Guaranteed Admission and Tuition Scholarship
University of LaVerne will offer guaranteed admission to their university for FUSD students who meet the minimum admission requirements to attend ULV. ULV will waive the application fee and provide students with a minimum of $15,000 per year in academic scholarships for up to four years.
We also have a partnership for employees and the spouse of employees to provide tuition discounts. Please see this link for additional information: ULV PACE Program
University of Redlands
Guaranteed Admission and Tuition Scholarship
University of Redlands will offer guaranteed admission to their university for FUSD students who meet the minimum admission requirements to attend U of R. As part of this partnership, the application fee will be waived and annual scholarships starting at $22,000 will be awarded to qualifying students for up to four years.

UMass Global
Employee Tuition Discount
Fontana Unified School District is proud to partner with the University of Massachusetts Global to offer an exclusive tuition‑reduction scholarship for our employees and their eligible family members. Through this agreement, new students enrolling in qualifying UMass Global programs can receive a 10–20% tuition discount, supporting continued education, credentialing, and career advancement. This benefit applies to FUSD staff, their spouses, and dependents, helping make higher education more accessible for our district community.
